Vivo leads with 30.36% market share this june (Brazil)Brazil Telephony Market is lead by Vivo with 30.36 percent,down on the 30.45 percent registerd in May’08. The latest data published by Anatel shows that TIM is still second with a 25.4 percent share (25.6 in May), followed by Claro with 24.87 percent (24.75 in May), Oi with 15.25 and Brasil Telecom with 3.77 percent.
With the sale of 2.6 million mobile phones last month, Brazil reached 133.15 million mobile users at the end of June’08, or 1.99 percent more than in May’08. The mobile penetration rate currently stands at 69.52 percent.
