BlackBerry users can now access WSJ on move (USA)
The Wall Street Journal has launched a wireless application for RIM’s BlackBerry.
The application, WSJ.com Mobile Reader, is a free of cost application wherein the user can view headlines and articles as well.
The content can be customized based on various criteria like category lists, keywords. Users can also track specific companies, getting headlines and stock quotes, but the delay can be of nearly 30 minutes.
The content provided on WSJ.com Mobile Reader, will be from The Wall Street Journal Digital Network, MarketWatch.com, Barrons.com and AllThingsD.com. The application will be free of charge, but eventually some content will be exclusive only to the paid subscribers. The users can also take content from other sources as well.
WSJ also plans to show ads from an unamed advertiser from next month.
