LG is intending to grab Motorola’s spot in the global mobile handset rankings within the next couple of yeras. As mobile market is heavily competitive, LG electronics is aspring to take third position. Within 18 months Company aims to reach the market share of 15% at present which is 9.3%. Scott Ahn, president of LG’s mobile communications division, said that “We want to become a firm top-three player by 2010 and become number one eventually”.
