Oman’s regulator launches public consultation for mobile TV (Oman)
Oman’s Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), reportedly launches a public consultation on the topic of mobile television. The regulator will be seeking opinion on certain issues for the introduction of mobile TV, like reception types, business model options that would provide the best services to the society, operators’ interest, and spectrum allocation and assignment.
All interested parties are being invited by the regulator to express their opinion on the consultation document, which will be published in the local newspapers, as well as the authority’s website. The consultation can be made till 22 September.
