Telenor Pakistan chooses Huawei Technologies to deploy world’s largest HLR (Pakistan)
Huawei Technologies Co Ltd., announces the deployment of world’s largest next generation Home Location Register (HLR) solution for Telenor Pakistan.
HLR will be serving 40 million subscribers which will enable Telenor Pakistan to improve its network efficiency, simplify its operations, and enhance its subscriber’s service experience, in turn reducing operating and transmission costs by 60% and 70% respectively.
HLR solution is well – distributed and has been deployed in Pakistan’s three major cities of Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore.
Telenor Pakistan, as a result, will be able to unify the management of subscriber information such as number resources and simplify the maintenance of its network.
