Virgin Mobile is now in an agreement with buzzd. Buzzd is a location-based cityguide and mobile socila network to its WAP deck. Virgin Mobile and buzzd will enable users to:

  • Broadcast and share local entertainment information based on their current location
  • Delivers editorially-driven event
  • Venue data alongside consumer ratings and reviews

buzzd comprises

  • SMS and messaging features
  • User-generated feedback and licensed content from providers like TimeOut, Zagat and Flavorpill

buzzd is now planning to spread its wings in major metropolitan areas across the U.S. as well as locales in Europe and India.
