After the launch  Visafone’s commercial launch its subscribers base crosses the mark of one million in six months. At the time of launch it covered twelve states and over 40 cities. Since its launch it has expanded to 17 states and over 150 towns. Its  aggressive low-cost pricing policy which claims to have Nigeria’s cheapest on-net tariff of NGN0.1 per second and the lowest on-net SMS price of NGN5 (USD0.04) per message is the reason behind its success.
