PNG Telikom has concured to sell 50 per cent of its ailing mobile phone business to foreign investors for around $60 million. ICCC is looking for more information before allowing the transfer of Telikom’s public mobile services. Purchase are made by Black Dolphin Limited and Capital Way Consortium. General Enterprises Management is also included in Consortium. GEMS, which lists former US secretary of state Dr Henry Kissinger as an adviser, is a shareholder in another PNG mobile phone company which is yet to start operating, is a matter of concern for ICCC.
