Sky Network Television Ltd. has inked an agreement with Vodafone New Zealand to supply its content into a new service on the phone company’s mobile network. Sky, said, “The new agreement will allow Vodafone to bundle Sky content, mobile and fixed-line voice and Internet services, providing an attractive and compelling ‘quad play’ service for their customers.” This five-year agreement expands on the existing content arrangement, added Sky.
Sky Chief Executive John Fellet, said, “The extension of the relationship with Vodafone to become our pay television telecommunications partner will greatly benefit consumers with the associated discounted pricing arrangements that bundling will deliver.”
