Sotelco and Huawei in a deal (Cambodia)
Sotelco (Vimpelcom subsidiary) has signed a deal with Huawei for a nationwide GSM network to be deployed over the next five years. Financial details are not yet revealed. According to a report, in July 2008 Vimpelcom acquired a 90% stake in Sotelco from Altimo for US$28 million and the remaining 10% is with a local entrepreneur.
