Hong Kong’s regulator recieves five bids for 4G licence
Hong Kong’ telcoms regulator has reportedly recieved five bids for the 4G licence in the country. Hutchison and PCCW have submitted a joint bid, says The Office of the Telecommunications Authority. Meanwhile the other four bidders were China Mobile (Hong Kong) Ltd., CSL New World Mobility Ltd., City Telecom Ltd. and SmarTone Telecommunications Holdings Ltd.
The auction, according to the regulator, will be held on 12 January’09.
