Indian Finance Ministry wants double floor price for 3G licences

The Finance Ministry of India is likely to double the floor price set for the 3G auction. This move would further delay the auction due to commence of 30 January 2009.
The telecom ministry had set a base price of $412 million for 3G spectrum in all of India and $227 million for broadband wireless access spectrum.
