China Mobile slashes GPRS tariffs by two-thirds (China)
China Mobile, China’s leading mobile operator, lowers its GPRS tariffs by two thirds. In Beijing, China Mobile slashes its GPRS price from 0.03 yuan/Kb to 0.01 yuan/Kb. In addition, for a monthly charge of 5 yuan, China Mobile will provide a 30Mb service, upgraded from the previous 10Mb service. The price cut is limited to users of Go-Tone, M-zone as well as some of Easyown users.
