Melita Mobile and Telecom Italia ink a worldwide mobile roaming deal (Malta)
Melita Mobile tags along with Telecom Italia to offer worldwide mobile roaming services from the very first day it instigates operation i.e. February 1. With this agreement, Melita Mobile will have an access to nearly 600 third party mobile service provider present in across 200 countries. Melita plans to offer affordable international voice and video call tariffs, simple tariff for SMS and MMS, WEB and WAP browsing.
We have invested €40 million to build a fully-fledged 3G mobile network using the best available next generation technology. Besides full nationwide coverage, we have also ensured that from Day One, Melita Mobile subscribers have access to full mobile roaming facilities across the worldâ€, said Alison Bezzina, Melita Mobile Marketing Manager.
