Vietnamobile to launch GSM services in Q1’09 (Vietnam)
Vietnamobile, HT Mobile descendant, is all geared up to launch its GSM services in Q1’09, after completion of its network conversion from CDMA to GSM. The operator will launch itself as country’s fourth GSM service provider. HT Mobile is a joint venture between Hanoi Telecom and Hutchison Telecommunication, had launched its services back in 2007 as a CDMA operator and later in 2008 recieved a GSM licence.
