SingTel to vend HTC Google phone from today (Singapore)
Singapore Telecommunications Ltd. (SingTel) said that it will start selling Google Inc.’s Android platform phones made by HTC Corp.’s in Singapore from 21st feb’09. In September, the phone was introduced in U.S. by Google, cellular carrier T-Mobile USA Inc. and HTC. The company does not expect to take any additional charges from selling the phone, called the HTC Dream, said SingTel’s Chief of Consumer Yuen Kuan Moon.
