O2 to introduce 24 month tariff plan for iPhone 3G (UK)
www.WirelessFederation.com/news: O2 UK will reportedly introduce iPhone’s 24 month tariff plan on 3 April’09. The new option will enable subscribers to buy iPhone 3G for free on lower tariff rates.
Looking at the steps taken up by O2 and AT&T, the speculations about clearing the stock of iPhone 3G, ahead of its new handset, seem to be true.
According to O2 the new tariff plan is for the subscribers who are “looking for added value in return for added commitment”.
The customers who will register for the new tariff can avail 8GB iPhone 3G free of cost at £34.26 per month and the 16GB iPhone 3G for free at £44.05 per month.
