Uganda Telecom & Standard Chartered Bank ink m-banking deal
Uganda Telecom and Standard Chartered Bank ink m-banking agreement enabling the UTL subscribers to access their banking services via mobile handsets. According to the agreement, the subscribers will have to sign up with the bank to access the m-banking service. The bank assures safe system for data which will not be stored on the Sim card. The initiative aims to raise the access to the bank’s service.
