www.WirelessFederation.com/news: According to a report, the Vietnam government has approved four telecommunications providers to offer 3G mobile phone services to the country. As per the report, incumbents Viettel, Vinaphone, MobiFone, and a venture between Hanoi Telecom and EVN Telecom as the providers qualified for licensing. Further the report unveils that within the next three months, the operators should be able to fulfill requirements regarding network infrastructure and equipment so they could be ready for formal licensing.
