Dell in talks with China Mobile to offer smartphones

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Dell, the PC vendor, is in talks with the Chinese incumbent, China Mobile to launch a smartphone based on the carrier’s mobile operating system, a move that will be a stepping stone for Dell to enter into a huge but competitive market in China.
Dell is likely to reach a deal around August, as it waits for China Mobile to select one or two handsets from the range it offers. A Dell smartphone is anticipated to launch in the Chinese mobile market by 2009-end.
