TIM gives consent to acquire Intelig (Brazil)
www.WirelessFederation.com/news: TIM Brasil has given consent to acquire long-distance operator Intelig. The price details of the deal have not been announced yet. According to TIM, Intelig will not undergo a shareholding and financial reorganization. The operation will permit TIM to become a strong player in convergent services starting from the offer of multiple play services – mobile telephony, fixed, broadband and TV transmission – with the support of Intelig’s robust network and the incorporation of its client base. The deal yet awaits the approval from Anatel.
