www.WirelessFederation.com/news: The Kosovo Post and Telecom, PTK, grabs the fourth Albanian mobile licence, as no other firm could fulfil the criteria for the tender. The consortium of PTK and other partners have offered over EUR 7 million for the licence and are likely to announce further investments in the network. PTK, through its mobile operator Vala, is the market leader in Kosovo. The company will compete against Vodafone, OTE’s subsidiary AMC and Eagle Mobile in Albania.
