Dialog Telekom offers ‘lite package’ for BlackBerry subscribers (Sri Lanka)
www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Dialog Telekom, mobile operator based in Sri Lanka, said it is offering its BlackBerry smart phone subscriber’s a ‘lite package’ with unlimited e-mail access for up to accounts for as little as 500 rupees a month.
Dialog is now extending the BlackBerry service to small businesses and entrepreneurs giving the benefits of mobility and seamless connectivity to a much broader market segment, said Nushad Perera, Head of Marketing at Dialog.
“This new package will be attractive to a wide range of customers who rely on emails as a vital communication tool to stay in touch with friends, family and business associates.”
Perera reportedly said that the ‘lite package’ was devised for the economical mobile user and will cost 500 rupees per month for unlimited e-mail use.
Dialog subscribers who use BlackBerry mobile devices can access up to 10 e-mail accounts, which include popular e-mails such as Yahoo mail and G-mail under the new ‘lite service’ package, said Dialog Telekom.
Presently, BlackBerry Models that offer e-mail connectivity include the Bold, Curve 8310 and 8320, Pearl, 8700V and 8707V.
