Tele2 gains 233,000 mobile subscribers

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Tele2 reports a loss of 20,000 subscribers in Q1’09. The operator gained 233,000 new mobile subscribers which were offset by the loss of 4,000 fixed broadband users and another 255,000 fixed telephony subscribers. Tele2 anticipates the rate of decline in fixed telephony would still continue. The subscriber base totals to 24.466 million at the end of March in comparison to 23.129 million a year earlier.
