www.WirelessFederation.com/news: According to a recent study, nearly 9% of the total 66.6 million mobile subscribers in Germany use mobile internet, which is around 6.2 million. The mobile are maximally used for SMSs which is 62%,, followed by pre-installed games with 20%, and MMS with 14%. Of the total mobile internet users, 70% is male. The most visited mobile websites by mobile internet users are online portals with 5.5 million unique users, followed by e-mail websites with 3.2 million unique users and news and events sites with 1.7 million unique users.
The most visited mobile website in Germany has been Google with 2.3 million unique visitors in Q1’09, followed by T-Online with 1.2 million and Web.de with 1.1 million unique users.
