Telenor Serbia posts a drop of 4% in Q1’09 revenues

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Telenor Serbia, a subsidiary of Telenor, experienced a growth of 4% in its Q1’09 revenues to RSD 7.55 billion (EUR 80.62 million), since Q1’08, driven by a large number of subscriptions and higher non-voice revenues. The number of subscribers in Serbia rose by 19,000 in Q1 taking the total to 2.863 million subscribers. The EBITDA margin rose by 10%, due to reduced sales and marketing expenses. Monthly ARPU fell to NOK 77, down from NOK 79 in Q1’08. Capex dipped to NOK 66 million, from NOK 139 million in Q1 2008.
