Sprint to launch Palm Pre on 6 June (USA)

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Sprint, the USA based 3G operator, will offer the Palm Pre phone from 6 June in Sprint stores, Best Buy, Radio Shack, select Wal-Mart stores and online at Sprint.com for USD 199.99 with a two-year service agreement and after a USD 100 mail-in rebate.
The handset operates on the new Palm webOS mobile platform, Pre consolidates professional, social and personal information into one device. Palm Pre will be offered with Sprint’s value-oriented Everything Data plans. The webOS platform introduces Palm Synergy, a key feature that brings together personal and professional calendar, contacts and e-mail into one centralised view.
Pre also enables users to access Sprint content on the Sprint Now Network, including applications such as Sprint Navigation, Sprint TV and Nascar Sprint Cup Mobile Live.
