China Unicom expects drop in mobile & broadband ARPU

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: China Unicom, the Chinese mobile operator, expects to see a drop in its average revenue per user (ARPU) for its mobile and broadband services in H2’09. Unicom which is second to China Mobile in the Chinese mobile market by subscribers, recently posted net profit for the Q1’09 of 3.57 billion yuan, on total revenue of 37.92 billion yuan.
