www.WirelessFederation.com/news: China Mobile, world’s largest mobile operator, has inked a strategic partnership with the Huizhou municipal government to make an investment of RMB 3.5 billion into TD-SCDMA network construction in the city.

According to partnership, China Mobile will help Huizhou in six major fields, including not only TD network construction, but also e-politics, e-commerce, industrial structure optimization, IT sector development in rural areas and wireless network construction in urban areas.

The Huizhou municipal government anticipates that China Mobile’s TD network construction will offer opportunities for local telecom equipment vendors and will speed up the development of the city’s IT industry.
The investment will further create 60,000 jobs in rural areas.
