www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Apple is reportedly intending to launch a lower-cost version of the iPhone device in the US next week, with an expected price range of between USD 99 to USD 149. It is assumed likely that the cheaper iPhone would be subsidised in exchange for subscribers signing up for a contract with carrier AT&T. Apple is anticipated to start production on a new iPhone device in July, which comes with a new OS allowing users to cut and paste text and to search for information inside multiple applications at the same time. AT &T has retained exclusive rights with Apple for the iPhone in the US.
