TracFone offers prepaid plan for $30/month (USA)
www.WirelessFederation.com/news: TracFone is offering 1,000 wireless minutes, 1,000 texts/MMS and 30 MB of data over Verizon’s network for just $30 a month. This new tariff plan is dubbed as Straight Talk,â€. For the tariff plan the subscriber needs to have a special mobile handset three are available, from $30-$100. There are other freebies, like free 411 calls, which normally cost $1.50 apiece or more.
The deal is being known as one of best bargains in the business. According to an analyst the Straight Talk is an advantage for the Verizon network. The plan which is priced at $30 is significantly cheaper in comparison to other prepaid offers including Boost’s super-hot $50 offering.
Straight Talk can be purchased through Wal-Mart, or via the Web (www.straighttalk.com). The service is doing a limited rollout; for now it’s only available in limited markets, including Atlanta, Phoenix and Denver.
