Reliance Mobile launches plan for GSM prepaid subscribers, offers calls at Rs 0.50 across India

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Reliance Communications, the Indian mobile operator, has launched a new tariff plan for its GSM prepaid subscribers. The tariff which costs Rs 45 per month enables subscribers to make calls anywhere in India for just Rs 0.50.
The tariff voucher is available for Rs 16 with a validity of 60 days, said Santanu Chakrabarty, Regional Head, MP, CG and Orissa circles, Reliance Communications.
After the coupon is activated Rs 1.50 per day will be deducted from the credit of the subscriber, which comes to Rs 45 over a month. Under the plan for the first minute the calls will be charged at Rs 1 for local calls and Rs 1.50 for STD calls. Whereas from second minute onwards the call rate will be only Rs 0.50 for any call made anywhere in India.
