T-Mobile USA to unveil details of myTouch 3G next week

T-Mobile will unveil the successor of Android based G1 handset. The new Android handset will be dubbed as myTouch 3G. Like the G1 handset, myTouch 3G will operate on Android OS and is being manufactured by HTC. The handset will be on sale in USA by this summer, making it the second Android-based phone to hit the market from a major carrier in the U.S. Google executives have said that more such phones are on the way. It forecasted that at least 18 Android phones from a variety of manufacturers will hit the market in 2009.
