Afone launches mobile phone service for consumer & business market (France)

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Afone, the French corporate mobile service provider has introduced a mobile phone service under its own brand name whic will target both consumer and business market. Afone Mobile will operate on SFR’s network, which has a coverage of 99% across the nation with GSM/GPRS and 72% of the population with 3G/3G+. The new mobile service will offer contracts with or without tie-in period with either 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours or 3 hours of call time per month. Prices start at EUR 8.90 for 30 minutes of calls and a charge of EUR 0.297/minute after the inclusive call time. Business subscribers will be offered an unlimited data option for EUR 25 per month and unlimited SMS at EUR 12. The Afone Mobile Pro service comes in six plans starting at EUR 25 for 3 hours of calls per month, with subscribers offered a Nokia 1661 phone for EUR 1.
