True Move launches promotion in collaboration with WellCom (Thailand)

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: True Move, the Thai mobile operator, has introduced a promotional offer in collaboration with local mobile handset brand WellCom. WellCom will launch three dual SIM handset models and True subscribers will purchase a SIM, they will be offered free 5-hour GPRS usage and bonus talk-time of THB 2,400.

The handsets introduced are, the W3313, a touchscreen handset which features video recorder, MP3 player, and Bluetooth. The handset will be sold at a retail price of 2,990. The W3390 which comes with hi-fi stereo technology, a built-in TV stand, and a sensor switch that automatically gives best view in TV mode will cost THB 3,590. The third handset is the W920+ which offers a 2.8-inch display, touch screen, SMS blocking feature, and an e-book reader is priced at THB 3,990. WellcoM expects to sell 60,000 handsets in three months.
