Far EasTone to launch two Android handsets in H2’09

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Far EasTone, the Taiwanese mobile operator, has reportedly planned to unveil two Android based smartphones in H2’09. The operator’s Vice President, Roger Chen, said the company is in talks with more than five potential partners to sell the smartphones that run Google Inc’s Android operating system, and expects that the launch will help it gain more profits.

The Android based smartphones will be priced at about NT$10,000, including all the services.
