Huawei unveils two smartphones, Android-powered U8230 & Windows Mobile C8000
Huawei Technologies has unveiled its two new handsets dubbed as the Android-powered U8230 and the C8000 operating on Windows Mobile OS. The handsets will be officially launched in H2’09.
The Android-powered U8230 device enables users to switch between full and half QWERTY keyboards and to navigate programmes using a 3.5-inch LCD touch screen. The handset adorns Google Chrome internet browser and supports a range of Google applications. The device has a battery with a capacity of 1500 mAH – the longest battery capacity of any Android-powered handsets currently available, claims Huawei.
Tho other handset, the C8000 Windows Mobile device features a 3D graphic user interface and an independent display adapter which enables the presentation of video files and DVD-quality pictures on a 2.8-inch touch screen.
Huawei intends to launch a range of touchscreen handsets supported by WCDMA, CDMA, and TD-SCDMA standards in H2.
