Globe Mediacom to sell 19% stake in Mobile-8, seeks potential buyer (Indonesia)

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Globe Mediacom, the Indonesian media and telecommunication firm is planning to sell off its 19% stake in Mobile-8 Telecom, the Indonesian mobile operator. The firm is in talks with various potential buyers to vend off the stake to, Global Mediacom president director Hary Tanoesoedibjo reportedly said. In January, the company sold a 32%  of its stake to Dubai-based private equity fund Jerash Investment.
The sale of stake in the mobile operator is driven by Global Mediacom’s plans to focus on media.
