Qtel-Vodafone Qatar in a bid to develop a joint mobile commerce platform

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Qtel has joined hands with Vodafone-Qatar in a bid to develop a joint mobile commerce platform.  Vodafone Qatar has already implemented a version of the platform, which is set to develop it by adding further m-commerce services such as mobile banking, mobile purchase and mobile marketing and advertising to enable Qtel subscribers to carry out payments and complete transactions via their mobile phones. The upgraded version of the platform is set to be released later in 2009.  The service is being trialed an already mad available to selected first subscribers who have purchased Vodafone-Qatar monthly plans.
