Mobile revenues post a rise of 20% (Azerbaijan)

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Azerbaijan’s telecommunications sector generated USD467 million in the first five months of 2009, reflecting a 15.6% increase, compared to the same period a year earlier, according to data published by the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Mobile revenues experiences a rise of 19.8%, to USD467 million. According to a report, Azerbaijan had just over six million mobile subscribers, 70,000 broadband customers and around 1.5 million fixed lines at the end of 2008.
