The Telegraph earlier reported that T-mobile UK is on the block, with a price tag in the range of £3bn.
Vodafone appears to be interested!
Vodafone has 25% market share and after acquiring T-mobile, it will be the leader with 40% share. (O2 is leading currently with 27%, Orange has 22% and Three has only 8%).
T-Mobile UK reported a £1.5bn writedown earlier this year and 3 UK is not profitable. UK has one of the lowest EBITDA margins among its European peers.
