www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Nokia is all set to launch the Chinese Ovi Store, the Nokia’s cutomised application store announced at May end.
The Store is, at present, available in five languages (English, Russian, Spanish, Italian and German), Nokia Ovi Store should be ready for Chinese mobile subscribers before 2009-end, enabling them to download applications directly on their phones.
The Chinese Ovi Store is anticipated to be a huge success as China has nearly 180 million Nokia handset users.

In another development Nokia has also announced that it will launch the first TD-SCDMA smartphone in China by 2009-end. The handset is expected to be a high-end Symbian S60 model and it will go on sale through China Mobile.
