Chungwa to market iPhone 3G S in August, intends to boost revenues (Taiwan)

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Chungwa Telecom, the Taiwanese mobile operator, has reportedly said that it would start marketing the Apple iPhone 3G S in August, in an effort to boost its revenues by vending sata centric devices.
The Taiwanese mobile market which is seeing saturation in terms of voice market, the operators hace shifted their focus onto bundling telecom services with netbook computers or smartphones to cater to consumers’ rising demand for easy Internet connection on the go.
We have found that our iPhone users tend to download more content from the Internet than users of other handsets,” said Lin Jen-hon, a vice president at Chunghwa Telecom.
