Airtel introduces lifetime prepaid at Rs 1 (India)

Airtel made a big announcement for its subscribers offering Lifetime Validity for Rs 1 for TamilNadu subscribers to opt out one can do a easy recharge of Re1 and existing customers can opt out lifetime for just Rs 2 which comes with talk time for Rs 5 . This launch comes hot on the heels of DOCOMO which is offering calls at 1p per sec. The offer is available from tomorrow to both existing as well as Airtel prepaid subscribers.

However, the life time offer is launched only in Tamil Nadu circle, nationwide launch is anticipated in coming days, mobile tariff will remain same as per the existing plan.
