According to a media report, O2 fought for the GSM Pre with Orange, and eventually won as it promised Palm a higher revenue share.
The price of the handset is not yet unveiled by the operator, though it wants to offer it for free on slect and expensive tariff plans.
O2’s exclusive rights for iPhone3G S and now Palm Pre in UK will surely help the operator to see a growth in its position in the British mobile market.
