www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Batelco, the Bahrain based mobile operator, has introduced new mobile internet packages for its subscribers, which offer high capacity data download coupled with high speed Internet browsing capabilities.
Batelco’s Freetime 2000 Plus (FT2000 Plus) mobile package, offers up to 3 GB download with Internet browsing speed of up to 14.4 Mbps. FT 2000 Plus includes all the great features of FT2000 such as 2000 minutes of free talk time and 100 free SMS.

“The new ‘Plus’ add-ons give Batelco’s FT2000 subscribers a choice of either 1GB or 3GB capacity providing more flexibility to meet high voice and high-speed internet access needs,” said Batelco general manager media & government relations Ahmed Al Janahi.

“Batelco customers with other Batelco packages may upgrade to FT2000 Plus to start enjoying the first of its kind benefits,” he added.
Batelco’s FT2000 subscribers can upgrade to ‘Plus’ services by sending a text with either 1 GB or 3 GB, depending on the capacity required, to 4554 or by visiting any of Batelco’s retail outlets.
