www.WirelessFederation.com/news: AT & T has recorded best ever sales on iPhone 3GS launch day (19th June). “iLaunch day 2009 was one for the record books, as AT&T customers scrambled to get their hands on the fastest, most powerful iPhone yet,” a leaked memo to AT&T staff said, media reports.

“[Sales] sustained our previous peak hour record, also set in 2008, for 11 straight hours,” the memo added. Further the report noted that the news comes despite reports of shorter queues at retail outlets than those experienced last year, but added that numbers were boosted by pre-sales.
