www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Sprint Nextel, the USA based mobile operator launches the LG LX290, a slider handset priced at $29.99 with a 2-yr contract agreement after a $50 mail-in rebate.
The LX290 comes with “four conveniently-located shortcut keys for quick access to texting, email, personal calendar and alarm.”
Its other features include: QVGA display with 262K colors, GPS (Sprint Navigation), Bluetooth, Sprint Mobile Email, 1.3MP camera, and a 950 mAh battery for up to 6 hours of talk time.
Sprint also unveils the color version of BlackBerry Curve 8330: Inferno. The Inferno BlackBerry Curve 8330 costs $49.99 with a 2-yr contract agreement and after a $100 mail-in rebate.
The handsets are available online as well as at retail stores.
