Alcatel-Lucent announces role In TOT broadband

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Alcatel-Lucent announced that they have been chosen by Samart Telcoms, part of the JSS consortium, to supply an intelligent optical network for TOT Public Company. The agreement is part of the largest transmission deal of this kind in Thailand and will help to support TOT’s IP broadband project. Alcatel-Lucent’s role in the contract is to supply Samart Telcoms with an integrated solution allowing TOT to support the bandwidth demands driven by next generation 3G services and the increased amount of users.
