Vodafone to bid for Orascom’s internet subsidiary in Egypt- report

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Vodafone Egypt has reportedly joined the race against other Egyptian telecom firms including financial consortiums to acquire Orascom Telecom’s LinkDotNet, an internet service arm.  Mobinil is also reported to be in race for the stake. Other biggies include Telecom Egypt and Etisalat. Orascom Chairman Naguib Sawiris said that the firm expects to identify the highest bidder for the firm with so many players interested in the stake.
